SOHAR PORT AND FREEZONE REINFORCE HEALTH AND SAFETY READINESS BY HOSTING “BE SAFE SOHAR 2025

SOHAR Port and Freezone has successfully concluded “Be Safe SOHAR 2025” its safety and health week. The event united employees, tenants and industry partners, including service providers, contractors and local suppliers and the wider community in advancing SOHAR’s commitment to a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and operational preparedness across the Port and Freezone. 

 

 

Over the four days, participants engaged in a rich program of interactive workshops, specialized training sessions, seminars, exhibitions, awareness campaigns, and live demonstrations. Industry experts shared practical insights and real-world applications focused on occupational health and safety, road safety, environmental protection, and emergency preparedness. The initiative equipped attendees with crucial knowledge and skills to promote safer and more resilient workplaces.

 

 

“Our mission at SOHAR Port and Freezone is to foster an uncompromising safety culture that safeguards people, supports sustainable business growth, and protects our environment,” said Batti Al Shibli, Harbour Master. “Be Safe SOHAR 2025 successfully equipped our community with essential tools and awareness, reinforcing our collective responsibility to sustain SOHAR’s leadership as a safe, sustainable, and future-ready industrial hub aligned with Oman Vision 2040.”

 

 

The event further demonstrated SOHAR’s ongoing leadership in health, safety, and environmental stewardship, strengthening collaboration among all stakeholders for a safer and more sustainable future.

 

 

Through initiatives like Be Safe SOHAR 2025, SOHAR Port and Freezone continues to champion best practices and community engagement to ensure a safe, secure, and resilient environment that supports long-term economic growth for Oman.
